Watch live: Nexstar holds telethon to raise funds for Hurricane Helene recovery

Nexstar Media Group — the parent company of The Hill and NewsNation — is holding a digital telethon Thursday to help raise money for Hurricane Helene recovery.

Helene made landfall last week as a Category 4 storm in rural Florida, with winds of up to 140 mph. Over several days, deadly wind and flooding left more than 130 people and millions without power dead across four states.

Earlier this week, local Nexstar stations, NewsNation and WGN Radio began working with the American Red Cross to help raise money to assist storm victims. Many stations are also working in cooperation with organizations such as the Salvation Army and United Way.

Viewers will be able to participate in the telethon from 3-4 p.m. EDT.
