Murdoch pays visit to Trump Tower

Fox News chief Rupert Murdoch was spotted on Friday at Trump Tower.

{mosads}Journalists saw Murdoch and Ivanka Trump, daughter of Donald Trump, come down to the lobby of the Manhattan high-rise where the president-elect lives and works.

Murdoch left the building without speaking to the media. It’s not clear if he met with Trump, who had an sometimes-contentious relationship with Fox News during his presidential campaign.

While the Republican was friendly with some hosts, such as Sean Hannity, he openly clashed with others, including Megyn Kelly, a rising star at the network.

Steve Bannon, CEO of the Trump campaign and incoming White House chief strategist, criticized Murdoch and Kelly for being skeptical of the businessman’s chances of winning the election.

“They got it more wrong than anybody,” Bannon, the former head of Breitbart News, told The Hollywood Reporter. “Rupert is a globalist and never understood Trump. To him, Trump is a radical. Now they’ll go centrist and build the network around Megyn Kelly.”
