President Obama has invited President-elect Donald Trump to the White House before the inaugural ceremonies on Jan. 20, according to a Trump aide.

Tom Barrack, chairman of the inaugural committee, told reporters that Trump and his wife, Melania, will ride with the Obamas to the Capitol for the inauguration after the meeting.

“They’ll go to the White House, invited for coffee or tea, they’ll spend an half an hour there or so, and then they’ll go together,” he said. “That’s a great moment, that’s a great moment.”

Barrack called the invite “very gracious.”
