Trump will only attend 3 inaugural balls: report
President-elect Donald Trump will only attend three inaugural balls, The Washington Post reported Tuesday.
In addition, Trump’s inauguration parade will be about 90 minutes long, shorter than those of most previous presidents, the report said.
Earlier reports suggested Trump planned a more high-profile weekend. The president-elect hinted in December at a helicopter entrance to the inauguration.
{mosads}But last week, Trump’s inauguration planner, Tom Barrack, told reporters that the president-elect wanted the event “to be about the people.”
“It’s a much more poetic cadence than having a circus-like celebration that’s a coronation,” Barrack said.
