Huckabee praises Clinton’s inauguration stop
Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee (R) on Friday lauded Hillary Clinton for attending President-elect Donald Trump’s inauguration after losing to him in the 2016 presidential election.
“Give Hillary her due – she showed up,” Huckabee, a longtime Trump supporter, tweeted.
Give Hillary her due-she showed up. Shows dignity and class. A real lesson for the House Dems who lacked respect and pouted at home.

Clinton, a former secretary of State, attended Friday’s celebration alongside her husband, former President Bill Clinton.
Her Twitter account published a tweet honoring Friday’s festivities about an hour before Trump’s swearing-in as America’s 45th president.
I'm here today to honor our democracy & its enduring values. I will never stop believing in our country & its future. #Inauguration

Trump’s inauguration is being boycotted by 62 House Democrats who are frustrated with the president-elect.
House Democrats are outraged over Trump’s criticism of Rep. John Lewis (D-Ga.) as “all talk” and “no action” last week.
Lewis, who is a civil rights icon, said he does not view Trump’s presidency as “legitimate” one week ago due to Russia’s meddling in the 2016 race.
