Trump: Reports of White House infighting are ‘fake news’
President Trump lashed out at the media over Twitter on Tuesday, calling reports of infighting among his aides “fake news.”
Don’t let the FAKE NEWS tell you that there is big infighting in the Trump Admin. We are getting along great, and getting major things done!

Politico ran a story this week headlined “Knives are out for Reince,” in which anonymous White House officials and advisers close to Trump blamed his chief of staff, Reince Priebus, for the administration’s controversies and missteps.
On Sunday, The Washington Post ran its own story on White House dysfunction titled “Inside Trump’s fury: The president rages at leaks, setbacks and accusations.”
{mosads}Trump is also said to have gone on a tirade over the weekend, blaming his staff for Attorney General Jeff Sessions’s decision to recuse himself from investigations into Trump’s campaign’s ties to Russian intelligence.
CNN had a camera on one White House window that captured chief strategist Steve Bannon waving his arms. The news outlet reported that it had caught him in a fury.
There have been scores of recent stories detailing what the media has portrayed as rival factions within the White House. Together, they paint a picture of a chaotic White House at war with itself.
The Trump administration has recently begun taking a more aggressive tack aimed at cutting off these stories.
Priebus and Bannon have held meetings with several news outlets — including a joint conference call with The Hill and an appearance together at the Conservative Political Action Conference — to beat back speculation that there is tension between the two.
Trump’s top aides have repeatedly insisted they have no idea who the sources are for the damaging palace intrigue stories. They say the anonymous officials who are quoted in these stories are not in Trump’s inner circle and have no idea about the state of things in the White House.
