Trump: GOP healthcare push ‘coming along great’
President Trump on Thursday insisted the GOP’s effort to repeal and replace ObamaCare “is coming along great,” pushing back on news reports detailing serious roadblocks for the plan.
“Despite what you hear in the press, healthcare is coming along great. We are talking to many groups and it will end in a beautiful picture!” Trump tweeted.

Trump and his team have ramped up their sales pitch for the plan, which would roll back core elements of the Affordable Care Act and replace them with a more conservative system centered on tax credits to help people buy health insurance.

The president and his GOP allies are pushing hard to twist arms and change minds.
Trump met with a half-dozen leaders from conservative groups Wednesday evening, when he offered to make changes to the proposal to satisfy their concerns.
Trump blasted out his tweet as Speaker Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) delivered a PowerPoint-style presentation to reporters on Capitol Hill designed to better explain the legislation.
