Trump blames ‘obstructionist’ Dems for vacant ambassador spots
President Trump on Tuesday blamed vacant seats at departments on Democrats not approving his political appointees, despite many top State Department posts still having no nominees several months into his tenure.

{mosads}Trump has made 11 nominations for ambassadorial positions, five of which have been confirmed, according to the American Foreign Service Association.
There are currently 56 vacant posts for countries where the United States exchanges an ambassador.
