Eric Trump: Russia probe ‘the greatest hoax of all time’

Eric Trump during an interview that aired early Tuesday decried the investigation into possible ties between Russia and his father’s presidential election, calling it the “greatest hoax of all time.”

“I was there throughout the campaign,” Trump said on ABC’s “Good Morning America.” “We have no dealings in Russia. We have no projects in Russia. We have nothing to do with Russia.”

{mosads}President Trump has in the past blasted the Russia probe as a “witch hunt.”

Last month, the president tweeted that Russian officials “must be laughing at the U.S. & how a lame excuse for why the Dems lost the election has taken over the Fake News.”

The Justice Department last month named a special counsel to investigate Russian election meddling.

Reports last month said President Trump’s son-in-law and senior White House adviser, Jared Kushner, sought in December to establish a backchannel line of communication between the Trump transition team and Moscow.
