Ivanka Trump on Thursday said it was “deeply moving” to visit a Polish monument dedicated to the heroes of the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising.

President Trump reportedly became the first commander-in-chief in decades to visit Warsaw and not stop at the monument, which commemorates the 1943 uprising of the Jewish resistance against the Nazis. The president during the trip did visit a separate memorial honoring the 1944 Polish uprising against the Germans.

Ivanka Trump converted to Judaism before she was married to Jared Kushner, another White House adviser who is an Orthodox Jew.
