Spotted with Trump in the observation area was his second son Eric Trump, according to a press pool report. Crowds were told by course organizers to keep their voices down because of the ongoing tournament nearby.
The U.S. Golf Association awarded Trump National Golf Club the bid to host the tournament in 2012. Trump’s presidential candidacy prompted some to urge the USGA to move the event, though it ultimately declined to do so.
