Kushner’s lawyer tricked by email prankster

An email prankster duped Jared Kushner’s attorney amid an ongoing controversy involving Kushner’s use of a private email account to conduct White House business.

The prank was orchestrated by restaurant owner Jeff Jetton and carried out by an online prankster known as @SINON_REBORN, according to Business Insider.

The lawyer, Abbe Lowell, at one point told the prankster, who was posing as President Trump’s son-in-law and adviser, that he needed to “see all emails” sent between Kushner and White House officials.

In the email exchange, which was posted on Twitter, the prankster posing as Kushner wrote to Lowell seeking advice about emails with adult content that he exchanged with a White House official due to “a shared interest of sorts.”

“It’s fairly specialist stuff,” the prankster wrote. “Half naked women on a trampoline, standing on lego scenes, the tag for the movie was #standingOnTheLittlePeople :(.”

Lowell responded to the prankster, saying that they needed to forward official emails to his White House email account, but assured “Kushner” that the emails indicated were “not going anywhere.”

The same prankster has also fooled White House Special Counsel Ty Cobb.

Kushner’s use of a private email account to conduct government business was reported by Politico earlier this week. The top Democrat on the Oversight and Government Reform Committee is currently investigating Kushner’s private email use. 

President Trump latched onto Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email server throughout the 2016 election.
