FBI to interview alleged shooter’s girlfriend

The FBI on Wednesday will interview the girlfriend of alleged Las Vegas shooter Stephen Paddock.

Clark County Sheriff Joe Lombardo told reporters traveling with President Trump that Marilou Danley, who he has been described by law enforcement officials as a “person of interest,” would be questioned at the FBI’s field office in Los Angeles.

Paddock is the primary suspect in Sunday night’s mass shooting, the worst in U.S. history, that left 58 dead and more than 500 injured. The shooter rained down bullets on country music concert-goers from the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay hotel and casino.

Multiple media outlets have reported that weeks earlier, Paddock sent Danley to the Philippines, where she is from, so he could prepare for the attack in private. There are reports that Paddock wired more than $100,000 to an account there.

Trump is in Las Vegas on Tuesday meeting with victims and their families, medical workers and first responders.
