McMahon touring Connecticut businesses with Sens. Murphy, Blumenthal
Small Business Administration (SBA) chief Linda McMahon is visiting companies in Connecticut with the state’s two Democratic senators.
Sen. Chris Murphy (D-Conn.) posted about the trip on Twitter Friday. The state’s other senator, Richard Blumenthal (D), is also joining McMahon on the trip.

Laura Maloney, a spokesperson for Murphy, said that the senator attended a Chamber of Commerce event in Torrington, Conn., with McMahon Friday morning.
McMahon and Murphy bitterly vied for the Senate seat eventually won by Murphy in 2012. But the two appeared to bury the hatchet after McMahon’s nomination to lead the SBA. In an interview on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” in December, Murphy called her “unquestionably qualified” for the SBA post.

The SBA said that McMahon, Murphy and Blumenthal were set to tour Express Kitchens Showroom, a cabinet supply company in Hartford, Conn., later on Friday.
After that, the SBA administrator will sit down with Connecticut business owners for a roundtable discussion, the agency said.
The trip is part of McMahon’s Ignite Tour, in which she will visit all 68 SBA districts across the country, according to the agency.
World Wrestling Entertainment, which McMahon co-founded, is based in Stamford, Conn.
