Former Huckabee aide joins White House press team
A top aide to former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee (R) will be joining the governor’s daughter in the White House, press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders announced Tuesday.
J. Hogan Gidley, who served as senior communications adviser for Huckabee’s 2016 GOP presidential campaign, will join the White House as deputy press secretary.

Gidley has worked for a number of Republicans and also served as the executive director of Huck PAC, Huckabee’s political group that he formed in 2008.
Sanders has served as the top White House spokeswoman since late July.
