Trump’s job approval inches downward
President Trump’s job approval rating dropped by 3 percentage points in the last month, according to a new Quinnipiac University poll released on Tuesday.
The president’s approval rating is now at 35 percent, with 58 percent of American voters saying they do not approve of the job Trump is doing in the White House.
The results show a 3-point dip from those in an Oct. 11 Quinnipiac survey, which found that 38 percent of Americans approved of the job Trump is doing. In the October survey, 56 percent said they did not approve of Trump’s performance.

The president’s approval numbers among Republicans is at 80 percent, while 91 percent of Democrats do not approve of how he is managing the presidency.
The poll of 1,577 voters across the country was conducted from Nov. 7 to 13. It has a margin of error of plus or minus three percentage points.
A Gallup poll released this week similarly found Trump’s job approval number to be 37 percent, with 59 percent disapproving of how the president is performing in his role.
