Trump to deliver Naval Academy commencement address
President Trump will give the commencement address at the United States Naval Academy next month.
The president announced the news Friday on Twitter.

“So exciting! I have agreed to be the Commencement Speaker at our GREAT Naval Academy on May 25th in Annapolis, Maryland,” Trump tweeted. “Looking forward to being there.”

The U.S. Navy Twitter account responded to the president’s tweet saying that they were “looking forward to” Trump’s visit.

Trump spoke at the commencement ceremony for Liberty University last year, where he also received an honorary law degree. He also spoke at the Coast Guard Academy’s commencement.
Vice President Pence spoke at the Naval Academy graduation ceremony last year, telling graduates that Trump would “always have your back.” Pence also spoke at the University of Notre Dame commencement, where a large group of students walked out in protest.
This year, Pence will deliver the commencement address at Hillsdale College.
