{mosads}The photo was released hours after Trump met with Kim Yong Chol, North Korea’s former intelligence chief and a top aide to Kim Jong Un, at the White House.
Kim Yong Chol’s visit marked Pyongyang’s most senior-level official visit to the U.S. since 2000.
After the meeting, Trump told reporters that he would meet Kim Jong Un in Singapore on June 12, reviving plans for a summit that he abruptly scrapped last week.
Trump initially said that he had received a “very nice letter” from Kim, but acknowledged minutes later that he hadn’t yet opened it.
