Trump fires back at George Conway, calling him a loser
President Trump on Tuesday criticized George Conway as a “total loser” one day after the husband of White House counselor Kellyanne Conway won plenty of media attention by questioning the president’s mental fitness.
Trump tweeted the insult in response to a message from his 2020 campaign manager, Brad Parscale, who suggested that George Conway is “jealous” of his wife’s success.

{mosads}Parscale also claimed that Trump turned down George Conway for a job in the Department of Justice, though Conway issued a statement in June 2017 that he was withdrawing from consideration for the post.
Conway replied shortly after the president’s tweet, mocking Trump for ensuring that “millions of more people are going to learn about narcissistic personality disorder.”
Congratulations! You just guaranteed that millions of more people are going to learn about narcissistic personality disorder and malignant narcissism! Great job! https://t.co/Dk9bI3sBs7

Conway has garnered a large following on Twitter for his constant critiques of the president. He suggested Monday that the president has at least two diagnosable personality disorders, sharing an image of the cover of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders and the pages for narcissistic personality disorder and antisocial personality disorder on Twitter.
Last week, he posted a series of tweets asking whether a “serious inquiry” needs to be made into the president’s mental state.
Conway’s Twitter presence has become a particular point of interest, given Kellyanne Conway’s role as counselor to the president and her regular defenses of Trump’s actions and rhetoric.
The Conways have remained publicly civil despite their disagreements regarding the president.
On Monday, Kellyanne Conway said she doesn’t share her husband’s concerns about Trump’s mental fitness. She said last November that her husband’s criticism of Trump “doesn’t affect me or my job.”
Tuesday marked Trump’s most direct acknowledgment of George Conway’s criticism. Trump claimed in November that Conway was “just trying to get publicity for himself” in writing an op-ed raising concerns about the appointment of then-acting Attorney General Matthew Whitaker.
