Trump resort to host golf tournament organized by Florida strip club

The Trump Organization’s resort in Doral, Fla., is set to be the site of an upcoming golf tournament being held by a Florida-area strip club.

Promotional materials obtained by The Washington Post indicate that the “Shadow Cabaret,” an adult entertainment venue in Hialeah, Fla., will host its annual “Shadow All Star Tournament” this year at the Trump Doral, which the venue says is the first time it has used a Trump property for the event.

{mosads}Advertisements for the event reportedly feature Trump-themed branding alongside listed perks for golfers including allowing guests to select a “caddy girl of your choice,” which according to the company’s marketing director will feature women dressed in a pink miniskirt and a “sexy white polo.”

The caddies, employees of the Shadow Cabaret, will later return along with the golfers for a burlesque show, according to marketing director Emmanuel Mancuso.

“They’re going to be clothed the whole time” at Trump Doral, Mancuso told The Post in an interview. “At the venue is different.”

“If you enroll before the 10th [of July], you are able to pick out your caddie girl,” he told the newspaper. “Everybody that enrolled after the 10th, they’re going to have an auction.”

President Trump does not directly run the Trump Organization, which he put into a trust controlled by his adult sons when he entered office in 2017. Still, he has faced criticism for standing to profit financially from guests and events at his chain of hotels, which have included prominent foreign officials and Republican groups.

The Trump Doral regularly hosts golf tournaments for private events and charities, and hosted the PGA Tour in 2016.

Mancuso added in his interview with The Post that the choice of the Trump Doral was not influenced by political considerations, but rather due to the quality of the resort’s golf course.

“They deserve a VIP environment,” he told the newspaper.
