Giuliani dismisses whistleblower report as ‘hearsay,’ a ‘Dem phony attack on my conduct’
President Trump’s personal attorney Rudy Giuliani is scoffing at a whistleblower complaint made public Thursday as House Democrats move forward with an impeachment effort based on claims that the president sought to pressure the president of Ukraine to investigate one of Trump’s political rivals.
“The complaint of the so-called whistleblower, tells you on the first page his information is questionable. He says ‘I was not a direct witness…’ and additionally states over 20 times ‘I was told,’ ‘I am concerned’, ‘I learned’, and not once did he say ‘I know,” Giuliani tweeted, calling for an investigation into House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) after the panel interviewed the acting Director of National Intelligence on the Ukraine complaint.

The Dem phony attack on my conduct as a lawyer, is intended to intimidate me in defending an innocent client. Schiff has been attempting to frame @realDonaldTrump for almost three years. He should be investigated for lying, enabling perjury, and trampling on constitutional rights

{mosads}In his July 25 phone call with Volodymyr Zelensky, according to a partial transcript released by the White House, Trump told the Ukrainian president to coordinate with Giuliani and Attorney General William Barr on a probe of former Vice President Joe Biden, a 2020 candidate, and Biden’s son Hunter.
The whistleblower complaint alleges Giuliani met with Ukrainian officials in Spain in August as a “direct follow-up” to that phone call.
“The President’s personal lawyer, Mr. Rudolph Giuliani, is a central figure in this effort,” states the complaint, which is supposedly based on comments from a half-dozen people with knowledge of the phone call.
