Beyoncé, ESPN gave Harris tickets, disclosure shows

Vice President Harris was gifted tickets to Beyoncé’s concert by the artist herself and a Howard University football game courtesy of ESPN, a 2023 financial disclosure report shows.

Harris attended Beyoncé’s “Renaissance World Tour” concert in Landover, Md., in August, with her husband, second gentleman Doug Emhoff. She posted online thanking the singer for “a fun date night.”

The concert tickets were valued at $1,655.92, the disclosure said.

She also attended the Celebration Bowl in December, where her alma mater Howard University played Florida A&M University. The tickets were valued at $1,890.

Harris participated in an interview with ESPN while she was at the game. She spoke about historically Black colleges and universities.

Beside the tickets, Harris and Emhoff reported an income of $117,000 in royalties and cash returns and retirement accounts for the past year.

They have financial holdings of at least $2.89 million, The Associated Press reported.

The disclosures, released Wednesday by the White House, cover the finances of Harris, Emhoff, President Biden and first lady Jill Biden.

The Bidens reported minimal income outside of what he makes as president and Jill Biden’s teacher salary. They reported $64,300 in royalties from their books, retirement accounts and IRA distributions, the AP noted.

The couple owed between $375,000 to $815,000 in mortgages and loans and reported financial holdings of at least $1 million. Biden did not receive any gifts or travel reimbursements, the disclosure said.
