House, Senate Dems extend cash advantage
The Democrats’ congressional campaign committees maintained a strong fundraising lead over their Republican counterparts in the second quarter, Federal Election Commission (FEC) filings showed Monday.
The Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee (DSCC) holds a nearly 2-to-1 edge in cash on hand over the National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC), according to the filings.
{mosads}The DSCC raised $20.9 million during the second quarter and has $46.2 million in cash on hand.
The NRSC has $24.6 million in the bank after raising $15.3 million during the quarter.
Senate Democrats have now outraised the NRSC by a total of $93.3 million to $58.8 million this election cycle.

House Democrats, meanwhile, hold a nearly 6-to-1 cash on hand advantage over the National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC).
The NRCC, which has been plagued by financial scandal, raised $6.1 million in June and has $8.5 million in the bank.
The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) has $54.7 million in cash on hand after raising $10 million in June.
