Feeney actually answers opponent’s questions
It’s not unusual for the campaign of one candidate to issue a list of questions for its opponent to answer.
What’s unusual is when the opponent actually takes them up on it.
{mosads}Rep. Tom Feeney (R), who this week launched an ad apologizing for taking a 2003 trip to Scotland paid for by jailed lobbyist Jack Abramoff, continued to explain himself on that issue Wednesday, answering a series of questions posed by Democratic opponent Suzanne Kosmas.
Feeney’s campaign answered seven of 15 questions posed by Kosmas’s campaign, including questions about the last time he spoke to the FBI and whether his office records have been subpoenaed.

“Rep. Feeney and his office have voluntarily cooperated with this investigation and provided extensive materials, documents and e-mail records roughly two years ago,” the campaign said.
The campaign also said Feeney was never subpoenaed and that his “office has voluntarily cooperated and voluntarily turned over retained documents to investigators.”
Feeney is making a serious effort to appear forthcoming about the situation to voters, as it looks to be a big vulnerability in his first genuinely tough race for Congress.
