Trump: CNN ‘used worst cover photo of me’ for book
President-elect Donald Trump on Monday criticized a photo of himself used by CNN for the cover of its book about the 2016 election.
Trump tweeted that CNN “just released a book called ‘Unprecedented’ which explores the 2016 race & victory. Hope it does well but used worst cover photo of me!”

Trump and CNN both tweeted Monday afternoon about the book, which was released last month.

CNN “Reliable Sources” host Brian Stelter later suggested that his on-air comments may have sparked tweets from Trump, who also wrote that pundits who claim he thought he would lose the election are wrong.

Stelter said on CNN earlier Monday that Trump would not allow photographers “behind the scenes” on election night.
“There’s actually no photos for history except what people took on their iPhones,” he said.
“Maybe that’s because Trump wasn’t expecting to win on election night,” he added.

Trump has drawn attention to other publications about himself in the past with criticism of the product.
In August, Trump told his Twitter followers not to purchase a book about him from The Washington Post, calling it “a hit job.”
