Former President Bill Clinton originally did not want Hillary Clinton to apologize for her use of a private email server while serving as secretary of State, a new book reveals.
The Hill’s Amie Parnes and Sidewire’s Jonathan Allen report in “Shattered: Inside Hillary Clinton’s Doomed Campaign” that the former Democratic presidential nominee’s top advisers thought she should apologize, regardless of whether or not she had done something wrong.
But Bill Clinton thought differently.
{mosads}Instead, he thought his wife should explain what she was thinking and why she didn’t believe she had done anything wrong with her email setup.
During an August 2015 campaign appearance in Iowa, Clinton addressed the issue of her email server.
