A conservative Virginia PAC rolled out its first ad targeting Rep. Bob Good (R-Va.) over what they say are inconsistencies in his support for former President Trump.

The Virginians for Conservative Leadership PAC released the 30-second spot, titled “Which Bob” on Monday.

“For cameras, Bob Good says Trump’s okay. But the difference between bad Bob and good, night and day,” the ad’s narrator says.

“You’re asking me privately, I don’t say this in public,” Good says in a clip. “I can’t sit by and watch and then regret that we nominated Trump,” Good says in a subsequent clip.

Good endorsed Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) over former President Trump in May, becoming the fourth House Republican to back the governor for president.

“That strength in the face of adversity is needed more today than ever before, and it is why I am unequivocally endorsing and encouraging Governor DeSantis to run for president,” Good said in his endorsement. “The calls from the Never Back Down movement are growing stronger every day for his brand of fearless conservatism to get America back on track.”

The spot comes just hours before Trump and DeSantis compete in the first presidential nomination contest in the Iowa Caucuses. Polls show the former president dominating the field, followed by former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley, with DeSantis in third place.

Good is running for reelection in Virginia’s 5th Congressional District in November. Last year, following his election victory to Virginia’s state Senate, Del. John McGuire (R-Va.) announced he was challenging Good in the district’s Republican primary. McGuire has criticized Good for not endorsing Trump and has urged Republicans to “get President Donald J. Trump back in the White House, unify the Republican Party behind Trump and focus on beating the Democrats and their Marxist, freedom-crushing policies, [and] deliver results for the American people.”
