Harris campaign fires back at Trump after he accuses her of faking ‘massive’ crowd sizes

Vice President Harris’s campaign fired back at former President Trump after he accused her, without evidence, of using artificial intelligence to create false depictions of “massive” crowds at her rallies.

“1) This is an actual photo of a 15,000-person crowd for Harris-Walz in Michigan,” the KamalaHQ account wrote on the social platform X, responding to a screenshot of Trump’s post attacking Harris’s “fake” crowd. “2) Trump has still not campaigned in a swing state in over a week… Low energy?”

The post comes amid an uptick in enthusiasm for Harris’s campaign since President Biden stepped aside as the Democratic nominee — as evidenced by a boost in fundraising, improvement in the polls and big rallies.

Trump, who has long looked to crowd size as a measure of enthusiasm, has taken to social media to deny the legitimacy of the crowd sizes at Harris’s rallies and accuse her of cheating.

“Has anyone noticed that Kamala CHEATED at the airport? There was nobody at the plane, and she ‘A.I.’d’ it, and showed a massive ‘crowd’ of so-called followers, BUT THEY DIDN’T EXIST! She was turned in by a maintenance worker at the airport when he noticed the fake crowd picture, but there was nobody there, later confirmed by the reflection of the mirror like finish on the Vice Presidential Plane,” Trump wrote Sunday on his Truth Social platform, reposting a user’s theory about the crowd size, which included photos.

“She’s a CHEATER. She had NOBODY waiting, and the ‘crowd’ looked like 10,000 people! Same thing is happening with her fake ‘crowds’ at her speeches,” Trump continued.

Trump then called for Harris to be disqualified from running altogether, as he claimed the photo of the crowd was fake and therefore election interference.

“This is the way the Democrats win Elections, by CHEATING – And they’re even worse at the Ballot Box. She should be disqualified because the creation of a fake image is ELECTION INTERFERENCE. Anyone who does that will cheat at ANYTHING!”  Trump wrote.

There is no evidence that Harris has cheated at elections or manipulated photos of her crowds. In fact, photo and video evidence shows thousands of people gathered at the airport.

Trump’s call follows renewed fears from some Democrats that he could be trying to lay the groundwork to contest a hypothetical electoral defeat as he did in 2020. He has raised doubt over whether Harris’s ascent to the top of the party ticket is constitutional, likening it to a “coup” in recent days.
