Harris trolls Trump over rallies during debate
Vice President Harris took a moment during Tuesday’s debate to needle former President Trump over his rallies, mocking his tangents about windmills and fictional characters in a bid to get under his skin.
“I’m gonna invite you to attend one of Donald Trump’s rallies because it’s a really interesting thing to watch,” Harris said.
“He talks about fictional characters like Hannibal Lecter. He will talk about windmills cause cancer,” she continued. “And what you will also notice is people start leaving his rallies early out of exhaustion and boredom. And I will tell you the one thing you will not hear him talk about, is you.”
Trump was clearly irked by the comment and asked to respond.
“She said people start leaving. People don’t go to her rallies,” Trump said. “So she can’t talk about that. People don’t leave my rallies.”

Harris has drawn large, enthusiastic crowds at rallies since she replaced President Biden atop the Democratic ticket in late July, and her campaign has taken glee in prodding Trump over crowd size.
Trump, who also typically draws thousands of people to his rallies, has falsely claimed that one of Harris’s rally crowds was generated by artificial intelligence.
The Harris campaign launched an ad earlier Tuesday featuring former President Obama mocking Trump over his fixation on crowd size.
