Harris raises more than $220 million in September, outraising Trump 3-to-1

Vice President Harris’s campaign raised nearly $222 million in September, more than three times as much as former President Trump’s campaign.

According to Federal Election Commission (FEC) filings posted late Sunday, Harris raised more than $221.8 million last month, while Trump brought in nearly $63 million.

Harris’s campaign did not announce its full September haul — which would include additional fundraising from the Democratic National Committee and allied party committees — by Sunday’s FEC filing deadline.

It reportedly raised nearly $360 million in September and has brought in $1 billion in the three months of the campaign, a record for the biggest fundraising quarter by a presidential campaign.

Trump’s campaign announced earlier this month that its September total — including outside fundraising — was $160 million in donations. It also said 96 percent of the contributions were under $200.

Harris’s campaign, with additional fundraising, raised $361 million in August and went into September with $404 million in cash on hand. At the time, her campaign had raised more than $615 million since President Biden dropped out of the race and endorsed her.

The Trump campaign raised $130 million in August and went into September with $295 million in cash on hand.
