CNN hosts Harris town hall, Trump heads to Georgia on Wednesday
Both presidential campaigns are in high gear Wednesday as they enter the race’s final stretch, with less than two weeks to secure their path to the necessary 270 Electoral College votes to win the White House.
Vice President Harris will spend Wednesday traveling to Pennsylvania, with no official events scheduled before her prime-time CNN town hall event with Anderson Cooper.
The town hall will air at 9 p.m. EDT and will take place in Delaware County, outside of Philadelphia, with an audience of undecided voters, CNN said.
Trump, meanwhile, will hold a “Believers and Ballots Faith Town Hall” in Zebulon, Ga., at 3 p.m. EDT on Wednesday. Trump will be joined by Lt. Gov. Burt Jones (R).
Later, Trump will hold a rally in Duluth, Ga., with Turning Point PAC and Turning Point Action. The event is scheduled for 7 p.m. EDT.
Back in Harris’s camp, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz (D), her running mate, will make a local stop in St. Paul, Minn., before joining an interview with Raúl Molinar on Univision Radio’s “El Bueno, La Mala y El Feo.” Walz will record other local TV interviews with stations in the battleground states of North Carolina, Georgia and Pennsylvania. He will then deliver remarks on behalf of the Harris Victory Fund at a campaign reception in Louisville, Ky.
Second gentleman Douglas Emhoff will be in Hallandale Beach, Fla., for a get-out-the-early-vote rally. He will deliver remarks later at a campaign reception on behalf of the Harris Victory Fund.
Trump’s running mate, Sen. JD Vance (R-Ohio), will deliver remarks at a pair of events in Nevada on Wednesday: in Las Vegas at 10 a.m. PDT, and in Reno at 1:30 p.m. PDT.
Donald Trump Jr. will deliver remarks at a Team Trump on Tour event in Queen Creek, Ariz., at 6 p.m. MST.
