Winner of Georgia special election sworn in
Reps. Karen Handel (R-Ga.) and Ralph Norman (R-S.C.), the newest lawmakers in the House of Representatives, were sworn into office on Monday evening.
Handel and Norman took the oath of office after their special election victories last week.
{mosads}Handel defeated Democrat Jon Ossoff after a closely watched race in Georgia’s 6th Congressional District, which became the most expensive House race in history.
