Wasserman Schultz: Trump’s views of women ‘absolutely disgusting’
Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-Fla.) slammed President Trump’s “disgusting” tweets about “Morning Joe” host Mika Brzezinski on Thursday, saying they reflect his attitude toward women.
The former chairwoman of the Democratic National Committee (DNC) said Trump’s latest anti-media attack sends a horrible message to young Americans.
“Women are strong. The weak man in the White House can’t change that,” Wasserman Schultz, who has also been a target of Trump on Twitter, said in a series of tweets.
Women are strong. The weak man in the White House can’t change that. Neither can his disgusting comments.

We cannot ignore that the President of the United States views women as objects to be rated by their appearance. It’s absolutely disgusting.

This isn’t just about the message this sends to young women, but also to young men. Let’s be clear: this is not how a real man behaves.

Wasserman Schultz is part of a growing, bipartisan group of lawmakers that has ripped the president for tweeting that “low I.Q. Crazy Mika” was “bleeding badly from a face-lift” during New Years Eve at Mar-a-Lago in December.
I heard poorly rated @Morning_Joe speaks badly of me (don’t watch anymore). Then how come low I.Q. Crazy Mika, along with Psycho Joe, came..

…to Mar-a-Lago 3 nights in a row around New Year’s Eve, and insisted on joining me. She was bleeding badly from a face-lift. I said no!

House Speaker Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) said the attacks were “not appropriate,” while Sen. Lindsay Graham (R-S.C.) said Trump’s tweet was “what is wrong with American politics.”
Mr. President, your tweet was beneath the office and represents what is wrong with American politics, not the greatness of America.

Trump’s dig at Wasserman Schultz during last year’s presidential campaign was tame by comparison.
I always said that Debbie Wasserman Schultz was overrated. The Dems Convention is cracking up and Bernie is exhausted, no energy left!
