Tweet from Dem’s account: ‘Watch out for your sons and daughters’ after OJ Simpson’s release

A message from Rep. Jared Polis’s (D-Colo.) Twitter account warned people to “watch out” for their children after O.J. Simpson’s release from prison early Sunday. 

“The Juice is on the loose! Without a doubt watch your trophies, and probably watch out for your sons and daughters,” the tweet said.

The tweet, which was later deleted, came after Simpson was released from a Nevada prison. 

{mosads}The former football star was behind bars for nine years for his part in an armed robbery of sports memorabilia from a Las Vegas hotel room. 

A judge ruled in July that Simpson would be released on parole. 

Simpson was acquitted in the 1994 murder of his wife, Nicole Brown Simpson, and her friend, Ron Goldman, 22 years ago. He was later found liable for the deaths in a civil court.
