Maxine Waters to Tillerson: ‘Bye Felicia!’
Rep. Maxine Waters (D-Calif.), one of President Trump’s loudest critics, ripped Secretary of State Rex Tillerson Friday, saying his “plans are backfiring” at the State Department.
Tillerson’s plans are backfiring. Russia sanctions still in place, State is in shambles, & he discovered his boss is a moron. Bye Felicia!

Waters has repeatedly called for Trump’s impeachment, going so far last month as to “guarantee” that he “is in collusion with the Russians.”
NBC News reported Wednesday that during a meeting with national security officials at the Pentagon this summer, Tillerson referred to Trump as a “moron.” It was also reported that Tillerson considered resigning over policy disputes with Trump and the White House.
{mosads}Tillerson denied that he ever considered resigning in a press conference Wednesday, but didn’t explicitly deny the claim that he referred to Trump as a “moron.”
“The places I come from, we don’t deal with that kind of petty nonsense,” Tillerson said. “I’m just not going to be part of this effort to divide this administration.”
State Department spokesperson Heather Nauert later denied that Tillerson called Trump a moron.
NBC reported Thursday that Trump was “furious” after hearing the report and reportedly “fumed” to chief of staff John Kelly and others about it for two hours.
Trump has repeatedly blasted the report, demanding NBC apologize and calling the network a “disgrace to good reporting.”
