Ryan: Texas shooting ‘devastating’
Speaker Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) said Sunday that the news coming from Texas about a shooting at a small town church is “devastating,” and called for prayers for the people affected.
“Reports out of Texas are devastating. The people of Sutherland Springs need our prayers right now,” Ryan wrote on Twitter.

{mosads}According to reports, multiple people are dead after a gunman opened fire at a church in Sutherland Springs, Texas.
President Trump, who is overseas on a five-nation tour of Asia, said Sunday he is monitoring the incident from Japan.
“May God be w/ the people of Sutherland Springs, Texas. The FBI & law enforcement are on the scene. I am monitoring the situation from Japan,” Trump wrote on Twitter.
The shooting occurred at the First Baptist Church in Sutherland Springs, which is located east of San Antonio.
