Dem: I can’t capture how emotionally insecure Trump is, and I have a psych PhD
Rep. Judy Chu (D-Calif.) slammed President Trump as “emotionally insecure” over his tweet celebrating the one-year anniversary of his election win.
Not even 280 characters and my PhD in psychology are enough to fully capture just how emotionally insecure our President is.
This is a start though. https://t.co/heRKse9EXr

She was replying to a tweet Trump sent earlier Wednesday marking one year since the 2016 election.

“Congratulations to all of the ‘DEPLORABLES’ and the millions of people who gave us a MASSIVE (304-227) Electoral College landslide victory!” Trump tweeted, along with a photo of himself and his advisers giving a thumbs up.
Chu was alluding to the fact that Trump was making use of the new 280-character limit in tweets, double the original maximum.
This isn’t the first time critics have described Trump as “insecure.”
Former Hillary Clinton aide Brian Fallon said earlier this year that Trump was “very insecure in his victory.”
And The Wall Street Journal editorial board criticized Trump for appearing “small and insecure” while bragging about the size of the crowd at his inauguration at the Central Intelligence Agency.
