Rep. Raúl Grijalva (D-Ariz.) took a jab at Education Secretary Betsy DeVos while poking fun at a typo on tickets for Tuesday’s State of the Union address.
The tickets to to President Trump’s first State of the Union address misspell “Union” as “Uniom,” according to a screen capture of the tickets.
“Just received my ticket for the State of the Union,” Grijalva tweeted. “Looks like Betsy DeVos was in charge of spell checking.”
A spokesman for the House Sergeant in Arms office, which is responsible for printing and distributing the tickets, told The Hill that the misprint had been corrected, and that the tickets were in the process of being recalled and reprinted.
The spokesman said that the typo was not impacting the distribution of the tickets.
DeVos was one of Trump’s most controversial Cabinet picks. Vice President Pence cast the deciding vote on her nomination after two Republican lawmakers voted against her.
