Tour of Trump Tower draws 4M viewers to Fox News

TMZ founder Harvey Levin’s special on Donald Trump, titled “OBJECTified,” drew more than 4 million viewers for Fox News Friday night.

{mosads}Preliminary Nielsen numbers indicate Levin’s profile of the president-elect’s New York City penthouse and mementos collected throughout his time as a real estate mogul and entertainer was the highest-rated Friday program for Fox in 2016.

The 4.03 million viewers more than doubled the combined average of rivals CNN and MSNBC in the 10 p.m. hour. In the key 25-54 demographic advertisers covet most, Fox drew 965,000 viewers to CNN’s 244,000 and MSNBC’s 185,000.

The footage for the special was taped in September.

Levin — who founded the popular celebrity news website TMZ.com in 2005 — said he asked the Hillary Clinton campaign to do a similar special but was denied.

Final numbers from Nielsen will be available later Monday afternoon.
