Priebus, McCain to appear on Van Susteren’s MSNBC debut
Greta Van Susteren has booked President-elect Donald Trump’s incoming chief of staff, Reince Priebus, and Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) for her MSNBC debut Monday at 6 p.m.
“For the Record with Greta” will also feature an interview with President Obama senior adviser Valerie Jarrett.
{mosads}Van Susteren, who was with Fox News for 14 years before leaving the network abruptly after contract renegotiation talks reportedly broke down, will host the show out of a new studio in Washington.
The two Republican guests are appearing on Van Susteren’s initial show after MSNBC star Rachel Maddow, in an interview with her new colleague, asked last week whether Republicans would follow her from Fox.
“I certainly hope so. I think they’re going to come over here. I’m going to give them a fair shake, I’ll give Republicans a fair shake, I’ll give Democrats a fair shake,” Van Susteren replied.
MSNBC enjoyed its most-watched year ever in 2016.
