Trump scolds CNN election polls: ‘a WAY OFF disaster’

President Trump again targeted CNN Monday, tweeting surprise that the network still conducts its own polling despite its 2016 election polls being “a WAY OFF disaster.”

“Just heard Fake News CNN is doing polls again despite the fact that their election polls were a WAY OFF disaster. Much higher ratings at Fox,” Trump tweeted.

Like most other polling outlets, CNN’s polling did not predict a Trump victory in November.

{mosads}The president has gone after CNN far more than any other broadcast news outlet, often referring to the 37-year-old network as “fake news.”

At the same time, Trump has been complimentary to rival Fox News.
“A fantastic day and evening in Washington D.C. Thank you to @FoxNews and so many other news outlets for the GREAT reviews of the speech!” Trump wrote early Saturday morning. He posted the tweet from his personal account.

CNN President Jeff Zucker called Trump’s attacks on the network “a badge of honor” for his employees in February.
