Fox News re-signs Eric Bolling

Fox News host Eric Bolling has re-signed a long-term contract with the network, according to an announcement Monday.

Bolling, a former commodities trader until going into broadcasting with CNBC before joining Fox News in 2007, will continue to co-host the weekday late afternoon program “The Fox News Specialists” and host “Cashin’ In,” a weekly Saturday program.

“Eric has cultivated a strong fan base and has become a staple to the FOX News brand,” said Suzanne Scott, the network’s president of programming. “His insight is valued and we are pleased to have him at the network for many more years to come.”

“Over the past decade I have proudly made FOX News Channel my broadcasting home,” Bolling said. “I am thrilled that I will continue in my role at FNC and very much look forward to developing many more successful programs for our loyal and patriotic viewership!”

The news comes after last week’s announcement of 7 p.m. host Martha MacCallum signing a long-term contract with the network.

Fox has undergone several major changes to its schedule in recent months, following the departures of former prime-time hosts Greta Van Susteren, Megyn Kelly and Bill O’Reilly.
