CNN says it’s not hiring Spicer
CNN has pre-emptively rejected any notion of hiring Sean Spicer, according to The New York Times.
“Where does Spicer go next? Not CNN. Network pre-emptively says it will not hire Sean Spicer, spox tells me,” New York Times media reporter Michael Grynbaum wrote in a tweet.

Spicer resigned as White House spokesman on Friday after President Trump’s decision to hire Anthony Scaramucci as White House communications director. He plans to serve through August in the White House.
CNN has hired former press secretaries in the past, including former President Obama press secretary Jay Carney and former George W. Bush press secretaries Ari Fleischer and the late Tony Snow.
Fleischer was signed by Fox News earlier this month.
The Hill has reached out to MSNBC and Fox News for comment.
