Bill O’Reilly knocks Clinton off top of NYT best sellers list
Bill O’Reilly on Thursday touted the success of his new book “Killing England,” which has knocked former Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton’s book from the top of the New York Times’s best-sellers list.
The book’s success comes after O’Reilly was ousted from Fox News in April amid sexual harassment allegations.
“Killing England,” the latest in a series of books from O’Reilly, tells the story of America’s victory in the Revolutionary War. It sold 71,000 copies in its second week, compared to 65,000 during the first week after the book launched, according to The Associated Press.
{mosads}The book has made it to the No. 1 spot on the New York Times’s best-sellers list, with Clinton’s “What Happened,” her account of the 2016 presidential race, falling to No. 2.
O’Reilly celebrated the news with his 2.27 million followers on Twitter. He also took the opportunity to announce his fourth appearance with Sean Hannity, which will take place on Hannity’s nationally syndicated radio program on Thursday afternoon.
