Kimmel offers Trump a fidget spinner to distract him from tweeting
Late night host Jimmy Kimmel proposed Thursday night that sending President Trump fidget spinners — the stress relief toys — may help curb his Twitter habits.
“I gave this a lot of thought today. I think I have a plan to maybe put a dent in [his tweeting], because it’s dangerous. And the plan is this: a fidget spinner,” he said on ABC’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live!”
“Go in your kids’ rooms, grab all of their fidget spinners and send them to this address: the White House, 1600 Pennsylvania Ave., Washington, D.C.” he added. “Or better yet, send them to his real address: the Mar-a-Lago Golf Club.”

“Let’s do everything we can to keep those little fingers busy; give them something less destructive to do,” he added.
Kimmel’s monologue came after Trump launched a series of tweets Thursday morning warning Puerto Rico that federal relief efforts in response to Hurricane Maria would not continue indefinitely, and that the island bore some of the blame for its own stunted recovery efforts.
“He wrote we cannot keep FEMA in Puerto Rico forever, which — okay, but it’s been three weeks,” Kimmel said. “He has hemorrhoids that last longer than that. I don’t know what his problem with Puerto Rico is.”
