Trevor Noah: The only place we should build a wall is around Harvey Weinstein
Trevor Noah on Wednesday said the only place the country needs to put up a wall is around Harvey Weinstein.
“I really don’t understand why they’re still going ahead with the wall. Nobody needs it,” Noah said, referencing President Trump’s proposed wall along the southern border.
“The only place we should be building a wall is around Harvey Weinstein. That’s the only place we should be building any walls.”

Noah noted that since the Weinstein sexual harassment story broke a few weeks ago, it continues to get worse.
“The [New York Police Department] is looking into criminal allegations as well. So I guess it’s a good thing Harvey Weinstein likes people watching him shower because there’s a lot of that in prison,” Noah said.
Weinstein has faced numerous allegations of sexual assault and harassment, which were revealed in reports by The New Yorker and The New York Times. Dozens of women have come forward in recent weeks with allegations against the film producer.
Earlier this month, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences voted to expel Weinstein.
The Producers Guild of America earlier this week also voted to oust Weinstein. Weinstein will be able to respond before a final decision is rendered on Nov. 6.
Since the allegations surfaced, multiple Democratic politicians have also vowed to give to charity donations they received from Weinstein.
