Trump to be interviewed by Fox’s Maria Bartiromo
Fox Business and Fox News host Maria Bartiromo will interview President Trump as part of a two-part series scheduled to air on Sunday and Monday mornings.
The network said in an announcement that Trump and Bartiromo will “discuss the latest surrounding tax reform, the budget vote, health care, North Korea relations, global trade sanctions and more.”
The sit-down will be taped at the White House on Friday and air in two parts, starting Sunday on Fox News Channel’s “Sunday Morning Futures” at 10 a.m. EDT and Monday on Fox Business’s “Mornings with Maria” that airs from 6-9 a.m. EDT.
Bartiromo, a longtime CNBC host before jumping to Fox Business in 2014, last interviewed Trump in April, which also took place at the White House.
The president has focused primarily on Fox News interviews as president, appearing most recently with Sean Hannity in Pennsylvania last week.
Trump has not appeared on CNN or CNBC since August 2016 and hasn’t done any interviews with MSNBC since May 2016.
The interview with Bartiromo comes as the Dow surpassed 23,000 for the first time earlier this week.
