O’Reilly on sexual harassment allegations: ‘It’s horrible what I went through’

Former Fox News host Bill O’Reilly said he has gone through a “horrible” experience in the months since sexual harassment allegations levied against him were disclosed.

“It’s horrible what I went through, horrible what my family went through,” O’Reilly told The New York Times.

{mosads}O’Reilly, who left Fox News in April after the Times revealed that he paid $13 million to five women to settle sexual harassment allegations, said it has been a “horrendous experience.”

“The pain it brings to my children is indescribable. Indescribable,” he told the newspaper.

The Times over the weekend reported that O’Reilly paid a $32 million settlement for a sexual harassment claim before the company originally extended his contract.
