Fox News host: Lock Clinton up

Fox News host Jeanine Pirro late Saturday said “it’s time” to put former Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton in jail.

“It’s time, folks. It’s time to shut it down, turn the tables, and lock her up. That’s what I said. I actually said it. Lock her up,” Pirro said during her show, “Justice with Jeanine.” 

{mosads}Pirro’s comments come after The Washington Post reported last week that the Democratic National Committee (DNC) and Clinton’s presidential campaign assisted funding for the research that led to a dossier including unverified claims about President Trump’s connections to Russia.

The conservative Washington Free Beacon last week confirmed that it started funding for the research endeavor that ultimately produced the dossier.

Pirro during her show said that this revelation means “whatever was developed as a result” of the dossier is “illegal and unusable.”

“Now this dossier was used not only to smear the president, it was used to create a special counsel, it was the basis for congressional hearings, the reason for wall-to-wall anti-President Trump coverage,” Pirro added. 

“But in addition to that, the dossier was used as a predicate for further investigation, wire taps, unmasking, and FISA warrants. And if it was then whatever was developed as a result is classic fruit of the poisonous tree: illegal and unusable.”

Clinton was unaware of the dossier, which was compiled by a former MI6 agent, until BuzzFeed News published the document in January, according to The New York Times.
