Seth Meyers: Trump will go down as ‘neediest and most insecure president’
Seth Meyers said President Trump will be regarded as the “neediest and most insecure president” in the country’s history — with one possible exception.
“No matter what else happens, Donald Trump will surely go down as our neediest and most insecure president,” Meyers said during his late-night show.
“With the possible exception of Millard Fillmore,” Meyers joked, “Whose first State of the Union speech started with, ‘Do you guys think I’m fat?’ ”

During his show “Late Night,” Meyers also referred to Trump’s tweet over the weekend in which the president said he has “possibly done more than any 10 months President.”
“He’s right about one thing, the way Robert Mueller is handing down indictments, there’s a good chance Trump will be a 10-month president,” Meyers said.
Meyers, a frequent critic of the president, said Trump is “historically unpopular” and doesn’t have any “major accomplishments” to back up his claim.
He said Trump has resorted to “unhinged conspiracy websites to back him up.”
Trump often touts his accomplishments on Twitter. In recent days, he has tweeted that the stock market “has more record gains” and the economy is “booming.”
